Atlanta’s New Westside Park (8/23/2021) | Photography | @Seand67

On 8/23/2021, I visited Atlanta’s brand new Westside Park. Phase One of the park is very impressive and incorporates a city reservoir. Once completed, Westside Park will be larger than Midtown’s Piedmont Park. Enjoy these photos and plan a visit.

Things are beyond crazy in this country. Try to disconnect yourselves from the
mass media machine and take time to relax.
Clear your mind...Just let it flow!!!!

Georgia Aquarium Photography (June 29, 2020)

On June 29, 2020, I had free access to the Georgia Aquarium for my Birthday. The facility's expansion hasn't been completed but I'm looking forward to a larger aquarium in the near future. They also had several COVID 19 safety measures in place, most notably limited crowd capacity, 6ft social distancing,  and mask requirements. I elected to visit during the 1PM-4PM time block as opposed to the 9AM-12pm slot.

Shooting photos in the Georgia Aquarium can be challenging to say the least. You have to deal with lighting, smudged glass, and more. The use of a flash wasn't allowed in most of the galleries, so that was also a key factor, but rules are rules right ? At any rate, all of this affected the quality of my photos, but I did my best to 'clean up' the images.

This set of photos features Whale Sharks, Manta Rays, a Sea Turtle, Fire Eel, Congo Tetra Fish, Jellyfish and Beluga Whales as you've never seen them before. Stay tuned for more photos of other species in the near future and let me know what you think in the comment section!!
