Michael Jackson - Bad 25 Deluxe Edition Box Set

This 4 disc Deluxe Edition of 'Bad 25' is very nice, but could be MUCH BETTER. In addition to what's already included (The 2 AWESOME booklets, 3 CDs, Live DVD, poster, sticker), Sony/Legacy should've added a CD featuring ALL of the RARE 12" Extended Mixes of Bad's singles (IMO, the Afrojack, Pittbull, and Nero mixes are a waste of space...LOL!). The Bonus Material CD is great, but Sony failed to include the demo 'Cheater', which was originally recorded during the 'Bad' sessions, and it appeared on MJ's 'Ultimate Collection' box set back in 2004. While I'm pleased with this box set, I decided to make it EXTRA SPECIAL by including BOTH my 'Moonwalker' & 'Short Films' DVDs (Target Exclusive), and they fit perfectly. In closing, I'd recommend this 'Bad 25' box set to any Michael Jackson Collector, and let's hope that Sony/Legacy releases BOTH 'Off The Wall 35' and 'Dangerous 25' in the near future!!!

Leave The Negative Behind or ELSE!

An old friend of mine (Darrell Davis) shared some important advice on Facebook, and I'd like to repost it here as it may also benefit anyone that may happen to visit my blog. Feel free to share the following with someone in need.
"In some instances you have to let things, people, attitudes, behaviors, ideas, and beliefs go in order to receive and be blessed by new ones. Just as oil and water do not mix, revelations and higher states may not mix with old ways of being. At our deepest levels we know what works for us and what doesn't. Instead of becoming frustrated, tired, and worn out by trying to make things fit where they don't, it might be better to let go of the old and start anew."
The advice/message is simply priceless and another variation of it also saved me almost 3 years ago as I made the difficult decision to walk away from certain people who were acting as 'cancers' toward me. They were bringing me down BOTH mentally as well as physically. When it's all said & done, I learned a valuable lesson and feel so much stronger today as I move forward in life. At the end of the day, you have to regain control of your particular situation and move forward, no matter what people say. Leave the negativity in the dust where it belongs, and SHINE!

Apple & Steve Jobs...SCREW YOU!

Hello Everyone. I haven't posted a blog since January, but an unfortunate event regarding my iPod Classic (120GB Model), motivated me to start typing. Here we go folks. During the week of 9/5/2011, Apple's iTunes instructed me to download the newest version of their software (Version 10.0), and like previous updates, I clicked the button without hesitation. As I stated early on, I own an iPod Classic, and the unit hasn't given me a single problem since day 1. It's in pristine condition in a thick leather case, and never been dropped or exposed to moisture. Hell, I even have a 'screen protector' on it (LOL). As you can tell, I treated my iPod like gold, and it's design was PERFECT for use while driving. Okay, now that we got that out the way, this is when things got 'hairy'.....

After uploading iTunes (Version 10), and spending time tweaking my 15,000+ song library (which is a job in itself!!), I proceeded to sync my iPod with the new software. In no less than 3 minutes, I see an error message in a box from iTunes saying "iTunes has detected an iPod that is corrupted. Please restore your unit to it's factory settings (which erases EVERYTHING on the iPod) and retry syncing". Again, I didn't think anything of it, since my library was intact and should've returned to my iPod after this lil minor issue of 'corruption' was resolved. Ok, my 120 GB iPod Classic has been reset, and is ready to be refilled with over 15K tracks, but NOOOOOOOOOO. I then make ANOTHER attempt to sync my beloved iPod and recieved the SAME ERROR MESSAGE after I restored it per Apple's instructions.

Was I happy after this experience ? HELL NO. And to make matters worse, my 'Apple Care' warranty recently expired, so getting technical help from Apple was out the window, and all I have left is an empty iPod, that was working PERFECTLY FINE until I was suckered into downloading the latest version of iTunes. While researching 'corrupted iPods', it came to my attention that I wasn't the only person to suffer this digital dilemma at the hands of Steve Jobs & his evil Apple empire. Countless iPod Classic owners are making complaints to Apple, but are simply advised to "Buy Another iPod"....Well how about THAT ?? Isn't that some crazy sh*t ?

At the end of the day, it's obvious how Steve Jobs & Apple generate much of their revenue. They talk customers into buying the overpriced 'Apple Care' warranty, which seems to expire at the most convenient time, and they try to FORCE people to buy other products. I firmly believe that Apple knowingly released the iTunes 10.0 software, which was NOT intended for Classic iPods, but designed to work with their iTouch / iPad units. By forcing us countless iPod owners to erase our units, which are now useless, Steve Jobs & Apple assumed that we'd simply run to the Apple store and pluck down 100's of dollars for a new unit. Sorry Devils, unlike your other Apple Sheep, I refuse to 'drink the kool aid' and your iTouch (only 64 GB...W.T.F.) is useless to me. POINT BLANK!

At the end of the day, my show will go on as I have quite a few options to enjoy music while on the go...the Pandora & Tune In Radio Applications (for Android), adding mp3s to my Droid X phone (glad I walked past your iPhone!), and even making mp3 CDs for the car. I also advise iPod owners NOT TO DOWNLOAD UPDATED iTUNES SOFTWARE....DON'T DO IT!!!!!!

So in closing, I'd like to thank you for stopping by my blog, and reading my latest entry. As for Apple & Steve Jobs....SCREW YOU!!!!!!!!!!
